Director and Actor Sasikumar was last seen on screens playing Superstar Rajnikanth's best friend Maalik in the flashback episodes of his latest blockbuster movie Petta directed by Karthik Subbaraj, and his role was received well. Sasikumar has been flooded with numerous offers post Petta.

Today, the actor began his next movie which is directed by debutant Kathir. The yet to be titled movie will have Sasikumar paired with Nikki Galrani, and comedian Satish plays a key role. This movie was launched today with a formal pooja ceremony and began shooting.

The yet to be titled flick will have music by the happening music director Sam CS, and national award winner Sabu Joseph as the editor. Besides this movie, Sasikumar also has Kombu Vatcha Singamda with SR Prabakaran and costarring Madonna Sebastian and Kennedy Club directed by Suseenthiran and costarring Bharathiraja in his kitty.
