After Mary Kom's upper cut knockout at the box office starring Priyanka Chopra. Anand Kumar's Desi Kattey' a passionate tale of two orphans who grow up in a remote village, making country guns to become India's national level shooters is poised for a hit' shoot out at the Box office.
Akhil Kapur - veteran actor Vinod Khanna's nephew is the next big thing to watch out for. Akhil who debut's in film "Desi Kattey" in this out an out action flick, will see him performing high octane fight sequences and gun-fighting - trained in martial arts and hand to hand combat, Akhil will be seen doing those hardcore desi action along with Jay Bhanushali who plays his friend in the flick which is scheduled for release on September 26th. 2014.
Sources close to the unit state, that director Anand Kumar who had earlier directed film "Zila Gaziabad" and now Desi Kattey, is highly impressed with Akhil.
Akhil is not new comer who has bagged the role due to his uncle Vinod Khanna creditability as an industry senior who once was at par with the magnificent Mr. Bachchan. The lad has toiled hard to earn his debut.
An NRI from Dubai Akhil studied in an international school, went to New York City to study films.
Akhil has undergone rigorous training to get into the character, took coaching to ensure the right lingo and cutting muscle into lean thin body to suit the role of a village boy. Desi Kattey will also see Suniel Shetty playing role of a mentor who is all praises for Akhil and his hard work.
