The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is being mocked on social media for giving a male candidate a score sheet with an image of a south Indian actress, while simultaneously defending charges of anomalies in the Secondary Teachers' Eligibility Test (STET) merit list.

Back in 2019 Sunny Leone was astonished when her name appeared on a college merit list with 98.50 points on the Bihar Public Health Engineering Department's (PHED). Following this, the Teacher Eligibility Test included a photo of Malayalam actress Anupama Parameswaran in the result of candidate named Rishikesh Kumar.

Responding to the complainant made by the candidate, Additional Chief Secretary of Education Sanjay Kumar said, “An inquiry has been ordered to find out how such a big mistake has been made.”

It is also notable that, after eight-year wait for recruitment to 37,000 secondary and senior secondary teaching positions across the state, 247,000 students took the STET 2019 exam on January 28 last year at 317 exam centres. The exam, however, was deemed void in May due to a paper leak, and a re-examination was held in September through online mode.
