Legendary director Mani Ratnam has wrapped up his much-anticipated film Thuglife, starring Kamal Haasan and Simbu, which is all set for release this June. Promotional activities for the film are also expected to kick off soon.

Meanwhile, reports from Kollywood suggest that Mani Ratnam is gearing up to begin work on his next project shortly after Thuglife hits the screens. Industry buzz says that Simbu will once again take the lead role in Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film. Adding to the excitement, Lyca Productions is reportedly on board to produce the movie, with an official announcement expected in the coming weeks.

This new collaboration marks another chapter in the successful partnership between Mani Ratnam and Lyca Productions, who previously teamed up for the blockbuster Ponniyin Selvan series.

Fans are thrilled as this would be the third time Mani Ratnam and Simbu join hands, after their earlier projects Chekka Chivantha Vaanam and Thuglife.

However, with Simbu already committed to three other films, it remains to be seen whether this project will take priority or be slightly delayed. Either way, excitement is building for this much-anticipated reunion!
