'Agent Vinod' is much bigger than 'Ek Haseena Thi', 'Johnny Gaddaar' - Sriram

While one looks forward to decipher the twists and turns in the tale as they happen in the giant ride of 'Agent Vinod', it has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride for Sriram Raghavan himself who has spent a substantial part of his life in the making of this film. Really, after the accolades that 'Johnny Gaddaar' had fetched for himself, had he bargained for such a long time period before unleashing his next film?

Of course when a film of yours releases, you don't think that your next one would arrive after four years. On 'Agent Vinod' I have spent two and a half years. Having said that, I never felt that there was a lot of time going into it. On the contrary I was thoroughly enjoying the process of its making. I guess all time that 'Agent Vinod' has taken to reach the finishing line is pretty well spent, details Sriram.

Guess the same holds true for the money part as well.

Smiles Sriram, Let's look at this way; this is an ambitious film. 'Ek Haseena Thi' as well as 'Johnny Gaddaar' were far more intimate films and hence on shorter scale and budget. 'Agent Vinod' was meant to be bigger and hence the sheer logistics and dynamics change.

Hopefully for audience too it would be time and money well spent once the film hits the screens on 23rd March.
