The movie ‘STR 50’ is set to be produced by Simbu in collaboration with AGS Productions. On Simbu’s birthday, his 50th film was officially announced. Directed by Desingh Periyasamy, the film was initially planned to be produced by Simbu through Atman Cine Arts. However, AGS Productions has now joined as a co-producer.

Both Atman Cine Arts and AGS Productions will jointly produce the film on a profit-sharing basis. Renowned cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa and music director Yuvan Shankar Raja will be involved in this project. The promotional shoot for ‘STR 50’ is expected to commence soon.

After completing the promotional shoot, Simbu plans to trim his hair completely. Following this, he will finish shooting for ‘STR 49’ before starting the full-fledged production of ‘STR 50’. Interestingly, AGS Productions has also taken up the responsibility of producing Simbu’s 50th and 51st films.
