Teenage girl commits suicide after boyfriend leaks their intimate video

A 16-year-old girl from Gujarat's Ahmedabad allegedly committed suicide after her boyfriend leaked their intimate videos.

The teenage girl was found hanging off her room's ceiling on Monday evening. Her parents have alleged that the girl had suffered from depression over the boy's act. They further went on to lodge a rape complaint against the accused. The boy had reportedly shared the video, that was taken with the girl's consent, with three of his friends, who then circulated it online.

The boy has been booked under relevant sections of the IPC and POCSO. Three of the four accused have been arrested and remanded in judicial custody. Investigation of the matter is currently underway.
