Subaskaran's Lyca Productions is one of the leading production houses in Tamil cinema. The latest news is that Rajinikanth's elder daughter and Dhanush's wife Aishwarya has been roped in as the director of Lyca's next. She is all set to make a comeback as a director after six years.

Following the biggies 'Ponniyin Selvan' and 'Don', Lyca Productions are planning to make a bilingual film. Today, the production house took to Twitter to announce that they have signed Aishwarya R Dhanush to direct their upcoming thriller that has a story written by Sanjeev.

The family entertainer will be made in Tamil and Telugu. The movie is tipped to be a family entertainer produced by Subaskaran and Mahaveer Jain of Lyca Productions. The cast and crew of this untitled film are yet to be finalised. Aishwarya made her directorial debut with Dhanush starrer '3' and her last work was the 2015 crime thriller 'Vai Raja Vai'.

The official Twitter handle of Lyca Productions announced the film and wrote, "Lyca Production's Producers #Subaskaran & #MahaveerJain sign @ash_r_dhanush to Direct a bilingual thriller, Written by #Sanjeev.
