Director Maniratnam had recently started shooting his dream project Ponniyin Selvan, the movie based on the famous novel by Kalki Krishnamoorthy, and this movie is produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies. The movie has an ensemble star cast with top stars from the industry.

Yesterday, the team had released the title font of Ponniyin Selvan which went viral, and actress Aishwarya Lekshmi who is said to be playing Poonguzhali in the movie had shared the title look and tweeted "The entire Universe has conspired for this movie !Cannot wait to see the epic #PonniyinSelvan and cannot believe iam part of this dream team#manisirmagic".

Meanwhile, Aishwarya Lekshmi's close friend and actor Aditi Balan had shared the title look on her Instagram story and wished Aishwarya in a sweet way, as she posted "My lover @aishu__ killing it, starting this decade with a bang. too excited for you : )".Aishwarya Lekshmi had replied "Thank you lover".
