Aishwarya Rai, daughter Aaradhya contract Coronavirus

Hours after it became official that Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan had contracted Covid-19, news came out on Sunday that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan too tested positive for the virus. The news has come as a shocker.

In the wee hours of Sunday, the first test came back negative for the mother-daughter duo. However, the second run came back positive.

On the other hand, Jaya Bachchan has tested negative in both tests. No other family member has been reported to have contracted the virus so far.

Jalsa, the residence of the Bachchans, has been declared a containment zone by the Mumbai municipal authorities.
