Actress Aishwarya Rajesh scored a success last year with Kanaa, directed by Arunraja Kamaraj and produced by actor Siva Karthikeyan, and the movie also starring Sathyaraj and Darshan was a success despite being released with five other movies. Now the movie is all set to release in Telugu as well.

The Telugu remake of the movie has been titled as Kausalya Krishnamurthy and is directed by Bheemineni Srinivasa Rao and costars Rajendra Prasad. The movie which revolves around a woman cricketer and her dream to play for India has been completed and will be releasing soon.

With the teaser of the movie to be released by Chiranjeevi, now Aishwarya Rajesh has revealed that she received a surprise call from the actor, praising the teaser, and expressed it to be a great honour. Her tweet read "It was such a big surprise call from #MegaStarChiranjeevi garu ... he said he loved #KausalyaKrishnamurthy teaser .. am still awestruck d way chiru sir spoke to me .. thank u so much sir ... such a big honour to me".
