Aishwarya R Dhanush's second directorial 'Vai Raja Vai' is holding its own against Kamal Haasan's 'Uttama Villain' as far as expectations go. The film has a horde of star kids attached to it besides Aishwarya like Gautham Karthik, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Daniel Balaji and Dhanush. Priya Anand and Tapsee are the leading ladies while Vivekh, Manobala, Maiyilswamy and M.S.Bhaskar are also part of the top notch cast.

Gautham Karthik who is very happy to have worked on this very different thriller declared that even though he plays the hero of Vai Raja Vai`, the real heroes of the film are Aishwarya and Yuvan. The trailers show that Gautham does have a great screen presence and its good to see that he is so humble.
