That Ajith loves photography and can never resist a chance to go behind the camera is an open secret. During the shooting of ‘Billa 2’ in Goa, Ajith could not resist one such chance during an action sequence and went behind the camera to try his hand at it. R.D. Rajasekar, the director of photography for ‘Billa 2’, was more than happy to guide Thala through the shot.

While the Thala has gone behind the camera, the director, Chakri Toleti, choreographed over 300 extras for a crucial sequence in the film during one of its schedules in Goa.

This was a group of mostly Russian and German extras who due to lack of fluency in Indian Languages, had to actually be explained their part by nearly enacting them. Shooting with these extras was for over two days and the director took it upon himself to enact nearly all their shots before them.

The shoot we hear involved a lot of fire blowing stunts by professional performers and what also came out was Thala Ajith’s concern even for the junior most artists. Thala took it upon himself to check personally all fire safety apparatus and measures that were in place for the shoot.

The film is slated for a release on June 22
