The world of sports is still pretty much a male domain, especially in India. Which is why the story of this female racer is truly inspiring. 26-year-old Alisha Abdullah from Chennai is the country's first female racing driver and has an impressive list of achievements.

Ajith (fondly also known as Thala by his fans) is the only Indian actor who has competed in Formula championships including the British Formula 3. He takes his passion for motorsports seriously and takes sabbaticals from his acting career whenever required to participate in races. During his peak, he was in fact touted to be the third best motor car driver in India.
