Breaking! Ajith asks everyone to stop calling him Thala and instead gives these three options

Ajith Kumar one of the biggest stars in South Indian cinema also has one of the most enviable fan base ever. His loyal followers ever since the movie 'Dheena' released in 2001 have been fondly calling him "Thala". Celebrities and the media have also been used to addressing him as Thala Ajith.

Ajith has today made the strong request to fans and others to stop using any prefix to his name. His statement reads "To the respected members of the Media, public and genuine fans. I henceforth wish to be referred to as Ajith, Ajith Kumar or just AK, and not as ‘Thala’ or any other. prefix before my name. I sincerely wish you all a beautiful life filled with good health, happiness, success, peace of mind and contentment forever. Love, Ajith,”.

Ajith who is always publicity shy and prefers to blaze his own trail in personal as well as professional life has won the admiration of even more fans for dropping a prefix that he has been known by for 20 long years.

Meanwhile Ajithkumar's next movie 'Valimai' directed by H. Vinod and produced by Boney Kapoor is all set to storm theaters on Pongal 2022. The film which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja stars Ajith, Huma Qureshi, Yogi Babu and Karthikeya. The second single from the film is expected to drop on Thursday December 2nd.
