Vignesh Shivan shares photos of his inspiration for Ajith's record breaking Mother Song

The heart touching Mother Song from Ajith Kumar's 'Valimai' was released on the 5th of December at 6pm. Ajith fans and the general audiences have showered so much love on it that it has reached a staggering 2.4million views in just 17 hours and counting.

The 'Mother Song' tuned by Yuvan Shankar Raja is written by director Vignesh Shivan and is sung by Sid Sriram. The trio are recieving high accolades for their awesome creation.

Vignesh Shivan meanwhile has posted photos with his mother as an appropriate tribute for inspiring the song. He wrote Dedicated to Dear #Meenakumari Retd. Inspector of police my meee! AlwAys wished I could write one amma song Can I be blessed beyond this? To write a song with @thisisysr music in a H vinoth film starring the one & only Ajith sir #Blessed.

'Valimai' which is hitting the screens worldwide on Pongal 2022 is directed by H. Vinod and produced by Boney Kapoor has the principal cast of Ajith, Huma Qureshi, Sumithra, Yogi Babu and Karthikeya.
