While the shooting for Thala Ajith`s upcoming film Vedhalam` is yet to be completed the film`s producer A.M.Ratnam seems to have successfully clinched the deal for the distribution rights of the Siruthai Siva directed flick in all major areas.

According to a reliable source, the film`s distribution rights in all the areas within Tamil Nadu have been snapped up by major distributors for a huge price. The Karnataka distribution rights have been sold to Gokulraj while K.G.Nair will be releasing Vedhalam` in Kerala.

In the United States of America, the film will be distributed by MM Media, the firm which has successfully distributed Ajith`s Arrambam` and Vijay`s Kaththi` for 2013 and 2014 Deepavali`s respectively.

Ayngaran International will be releasing 'Vedhalam' in other overseas markets. .

Starring Ajith, Shruthi Haasan, Lakshmi Menon, Soori, Ashwin Kakamanu, Kabir Singh and others in important roles Vedhalam` is scheduled for a worldwide release for Deepavali season. The film`s musical score has been done by Anirudh Ravichander and the audio release is expected to happen in the mid of October.
