Following the success of Nerkonda Paarvai, fans of Ajith are eagerly waiting for an official update regarding Thala 60 from the team. The movie is expected to be launched with a pooja tomorrow (October 18).

While there are numerous speculations surrounding the character of Ajith, and the cast and crew of the movie, a recent news report suggests that Thala 60, directed by H.Vinoth, an interesting piece of news has surfaced. A few reports suggest that Ajith, who was particular on choosing a title with 'V' as the starting letter, chose the title 'Valimai' for Thala 60 from a list that included over 100 suggestions. However, it is only a speculation and official confirmation of the same is awaited from the team.

It was recently reported that Arun Vijay, who played a key role in Ajith's 2015 action thriller Yennai Arindhaal, has been roped in to play the antagonist in Thala 60. The complete cast and crew are yet to be finalized. It is also rumoured that Anirudh or Ghibran will be composing the music for the film.
