Thala Ajith had scored a blockbuster earlier this year with the Siva directorial Viswasam, and had wrapped shooting for his 59th movie Ner Konda Paarvai, the official Tamil remake of 2016 Bollywood hit Pink. Directed by H Vinoth, Ner Konda Paarvai is produced by Boney Kapoor.

While there is news that Ajith's 60th movie will be an action flick which will have H Vinoth teaming up with Ajith yet again in Boney Kapoor's production, here's an exciting speculation making rounds on the actor's next. It has been speculated that Ajith's 61st movie might be directed by Pushkar Gayatri director duo known for their blockbuster movie Vikram Vedha.

While an official announcement is expected in this regard soon, the director duo will begin works on the Bollywood remake of Vikram Vedha by the end of 2019. On the other hand, Thala Ajith's Ner Konda Paarvai, also starring Shraddha Srinath, Vidya Balan, Abhirami Venkatachalam and Andrea Tariang is gearing up for a release on August 10.
