During his formative years Ajith`s first major hit was Vanmathi` In which the song Pillaiyarpatti hero neethanpa Ganesha nee manasu vacha naanum herothaan` became hugely popular with the audience. Later in the blockbuster Amarkalam` which catapulted Ajith into the big league the song Maha Ganapathy` again had fans dancing in the theaters.

Now for Thala 56` music sensation Anirudh has composed a pillaiyar song and director Siruthai Siva has planned to shoot the song in Kolkatta which figures as a Vinayakar Chathurthi celebration in the movie. The song will be shot on Thala Ajith on the lines of Naan Autokaaran` in Rajini`s Baasha`. Shruti Haasan, Lakshmi Menon, Ashwin Kakkamanu and Soori will join Thala during the shoot.
