Ajith to join Venkat Prabhu for Mankatha 2?

Even though it has been years since the release of Ajith-Venkat Prabhu’s blockbuster black comedy action-crime film Mankatha, fans are still anticipating a sequel to the movie.
Addressing the same at a student’s event recently, Venkat Prabhu stated that he was nervous about making Mankatha 2 as the expectations for the film would be too high. The director, however, said that he would definitely be doing another film with Ajith in the future.
“I know there are lots of Thala fans in this gathering. I am very happy. I sure will have to tell you all about Mankatha 2. Since the expectations are high on this sequel, I am a little apprehensive as to whether I should do it or not. But a film with Thala is certainly in the pipeline. I am definitely doing a film with him, which will happen very soon,” the director announced.
