Ajith Kumar is currently involved in a long shooting schedule of his new movie 'AK 61' directed by H. Vinoth happening at the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad. The action adventure film has Manju Warrier as the leading lady and according to producer Boney Kapoor will be completed by August. The team is planning to release the biggie on Diwali 2022.

It is already official that Ajith will next star in a new movie to be directed by Vignesh Shivan and produced by Lyca Productions for which Anirudh will be scoring the music. It is whispered in Kollywood circles that Vignesh Shivan has written a script about food mafia and that Ajith would be playing the role of restauranter.

Now another buzz is gaining momentum that the 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' director had infused a lot of political elements and dialogue in 'AK 62' and narrated it to Ajith. It is said that Ajith was shocked by the political touches and immediately asked the director to remove them. It is known that the mass hero is averse to politics and never mouths any such dialogues in his films.

However there is no official confirmation on this one and it is more likely to be false than true. Ajith when working on a project never diverts his mind to another film and hence the chances of him listening to any narration at this point is not likely according to sources close to his camp.
