Tamil cinema’s superstar Ajith Kumar is currently busy filming ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ and ‘Good Bad Ugly.’ Following these projects, social media has been buzzing for the past few weeks with intense discussions regarding who will direct his 64th film (AK 64).

Recently, rumors circulated that ‘Kanguva’ director Siruthai Siva would be helming Ajith’s 64th project. Since he has already delivered four hits with Ajith—Veeram, Vedalam, Vivegam, and Viswasam—this news sparked significant debate among fans. While one section welcomed the collaboration, others expressed a desire to see Ajith team up with a new director.

As these rumors spread like wildfire, actor Ajith Kumar’s manager, Suresh Chandra, provided an official clarification to put an end to the speculation.

“The information regarding a change of director for AK 64 is completely false. As previously planned, Director Adhik Ravichandran will be directing this film. There is no change in this,” he confirmed.

Through this, it has been solidified that Director Adhik Ravichandran is reuniting with Ajith for the second time, following ‘Good Bad Ugly.’

The teaser and posters of ‘Good Bad Ugly,’ directed by Adhik Ravichandran, have already showcased Ajith in his classic ‘mass’ avatar. Consequently, the continuation of the Adhik-Ajith duo for AK 64 has created great excitement among fans. Director Adhik mentioned in an interview that this film will be a complete action entertainer that families will also enjoy.

Currently focusing on car racing competitions, Ajith is expected to join the shoot of AK 64 after completing those commitments. Official announcements regarding the rest of the cast and crew are expected to be released soon.
