A. K. Sajan is a scriptwriter turned director. As director his last outing was with Mammootty in 2016 for Puthiya Niyamam. Even though it didn`t rake in the moolah at the box office, it got good reviews from critics and audience.

The director is again teaming up with Mammootty for another project in 2017. It is said the character is something different from what Mammootty has done so far. The scriptwriting has started and we need to wait to hear more about it.

A.K. Sajan began his filmy career as a scriptwriter in 1980`s. His first film as a screenplay writer was Dhruvam which was a blockbuster movie of that time. His next film Butterflies was also a great success.

He wielded the megaphone in 2002 for Prithviraj starrer Stop Violence.
