Akshay becomes Lord Shiva in first look posters of 'Oh My God 2'

Akshay becomes Lord Shiva in first look posters of Oh My God 2 

Akshay Kumar's 2013 social comedy 'Oh My God' was a blockbuster hit and fans are quite excited to see him reprise the role of God in the sequel 'Oh My God 2'. The film had gone on floors few weeks ago and recently Akshay also joined the shoot. He took to Instagram to share the first look posters and it seems like he's going to play a character inspired by Lord Shiva.

The poster features an above the shoulder shot of Akshay who can be seen with blue skin, eyes closed and long dreadlocks. Below Akshay's image, silhouette of a schoolboy can be spotted. The other poster features Akshay's hand holding the hand of a kid. Tagline of the film reads, "Rakh vishwas, tu hai Shiv ka das."

Akshay shared the posters with caption, "Karta kare na kar sake shiv kare so hoye’. Need your blessings and wishes for #OMG2, our honest and humble attempt to reflect on an important social issue. May the eternal energy of Adiyogi bless us through this journey. Har Har Mahadev.”
