Akshay gets wife's applause as Valentine's Day gift

Looks like Akshay Kumar got his ValentineÂs Day gift from his wife a bit in advance this year. Twinkle Khanna gave Akshay a standing ovation after watching his latest heist drama.
For the first time ever in his career, Akki received a standing ovation from Twinkle after she saw his latest film ÂSpecial 26Â.
Revealed our source, As usual, he recently held a special screening for Twinkle. After watching the show, the actress-turned-interior designer couldnÂt have been prouder of her hubby.
It was a first in our 12 years together as a married couple, Needless to add, IÂm more than just happy about it, gushed the actor- producer.
Interestingly, Akshay wasnÂt interested in the project when the script was initially offered to him. However, heÂs exhilarated to have eventually agreed to play a different role.
The actor says, As an actor, you always want to do something new and IÂm extremely glad that the film is receiving good response. This film deserves every bit of it.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey, ÂSpecial 26Â got released on 8th Feb and also stars Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpai and Jimmy Shergill in pivotal roles.
