Few weeks ago, Akshay Kumar was approached to star in a movie about King Suheldev. Directed by Ashwin Varde, the movie was going to be an adaption of the novel Legend of Suheldev by Amish. According to recent developments, Akshay has refused to star in the movie as he already has a jam packed schedule.

Before Akshay Kumar, the film was originally offered to Ajay Devgan. But after a few meetings and conversations with the makers, he decided to back away for reasons best know to him. A Source close to the film said, "It’s a young character in the novel, and it was reworked keeping the age of senior actors in mind. However, now they will go back to the basics and set the original character sketch again to approach one of the gen-next superstars."
