Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar's next film's title changed to 'Durgamati A Myth'.

Akshay Kumar's upcoming film with Bhumi Pednekar has undergone a title change. It will be called 'Durgamati A Myth' instead of 'Durgavati'. Akshay's last film 'Laxmii' also had a title change. 'Durgamati A Myth' is set to release on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on 11th of December.

Akshay and Bhumi, both shared the poster of movie on their social media accounts and shared the release date as well. "What's behind that door? You will know soon, Durgavati releasing worldwide, 11th December 2020 on Prime.", said Bhumi in her post. She is excited to dive into horror genre with this film and said that it is her most challenging role yet.

It is a remake of Telugu film 'Bhaagamathie' and it also stars Arshad Warsi and Karan Kapadia.
