Released in Pongal 2014, Veeram starring Thala Ajith and Tamannaah in lead roles and directed by Siva, his second Tamil directorial venture after Siruthai, was one of the successful movies of the year.

 
 
Veeram marked the beginning of the successful collaboration between Siva and Ajith who together went on to deliver vedhalam, vivegam and Viswasam this year. Now after the Telugu remake of Veeram, katamarayudu starring Pawan Kalyan here's an update on its hindi remake.
 
 
The Hindi remake of Veeram has been titled as Bachchan Pandey and this movie stars Akshay Kumar in lead role. This movie will be directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and is announced as Christmas 2020 release.
