'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo': Allu Arjun smashes TV record with highest TRP rating

Allu Arjun has added one more feather to his cap. 'Ala Vaikunthapurramloo', which was aired on a General Entertainment Channel recently, has set a new record by becoming the highest TRP scorer in the history of Telugu cinema.
Premiered on TV on August 16, it has reportedly got 29.4 TRP. Recently, Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru' registered 23.4 TRP.
This has been achieved even though the Trivikram Srinivas directorial was premiered seven months after its theatrical release and more than five months after its OTT release.
Starring also Pooja Hegde, Murli Sharma, Jayaram, Sachin Khadekar, Tabu, Samuthirakani and others, the family entertainer had chartbusters by S Thaman.
