'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' has locked the date of its pre-release event. The Allu Arjun movie's event will be held in Hyderabad on January 6. Geetha Arts and Haarika & Hassine Creations are planning to make it a grand event, complete with some creativity. Mega fans are expecting it to be very special, just as the lyrical videos of the film have been. It has to be seen which top hero will grace the occasion as the chief guest.

As is known, the family entertainer will hit the screens on January 12.

Trivikram Srinivas has completed almost the entire shoot. Earlier this week, 'Butta Bomma' was shot.

Pooja Hegde, Nivetha Pethuraj, Samuthirakani, Tabu, Sachin Khadekar, Jayaram and others are part of the cast. Thaman is the music director.
