'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' sets a new record with trailer

'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo', which became a huge blockbuster this Sankranthi, is in the news for creating a new record on IMDb. It was the 7th most-viewed feature film trailer on IMDb this year. It's the only Telugu film on the list.
The trailer of 'Baaghi 3' is at No. 3. The first five slots are occupied by non-Indian movies. The trailer of 'AVPL' didn't reveal the baby-swapping element, which was the opening sequence of the film. It focussed on style and emotion.
Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the family entertainer starred Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. More than the love track, the film worked because of its story, songs and family scenes. Tabu, Murli Sharma, Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar and others were seen in the film, produced by Haarika & Hassine Creations.
