Alia Bhatt did a favor to Vijay Varma

Gifted actor Vijay Varma is beginning to recognition and due appreciation for his talent these days. He is all set to star in the upcoming films by Red Chillies Entertainment titled 'Darlings'. He was suggested for the part by actress Alia Bhatt, who is also co-producing and starring in the film.

A source close to the development revealed, Alia and Vijay had worked together for Gully Boy the first time and she was so impressed by his performance that she actually recommended him for Darlings since she was co-producing the film. And everyone in the team immediately hopped on board for Vijay.

'Darlings' is supposed to be a dark comedy revolving around a quirky mother daughter duo played by Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah. It will be co-produced by Alia Bhatt's newly launched production house, Eternal Sunshine Productions.
