All Venky wants is good scripts

If there is any hero who has had the maximum success rate when it comes to re-makes, it is Victory Vekatesh. Gemini, Gharshana, Vasantham, Sankranthi and Eenadu are just a few films that Venky remade popularly. Even his current project, tentatively titled as The Bodyguard, is a remake of a Malayalam hit.
However, the actor says that all that he looks for is a good script and asserts that he will give the nod regardless of whether it is a straight one or a remake if the story is good.
Paradoxically, the actor has delivered more hits with Telugu originals than re-interpreted films. Bobbili Raja, Kshana Kshanam, Pavithra Bandham, Pellichesukundam, Preminchukunda Raa, Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu, Nuvvu Naku Nacchav, Mallishwari are all Telugu originals.
Having completed 25 years in the industry and in his mid-40s, the Daggubati superstar is currently looking for avant-garde subjects.
