Allu Arjun not to attend as chief guest

There have been reports that Allu Arjun will be gracing the pre-release event of Gopichand's 'Chanakya'. Turns out that the news is totally false. The Mega hero hasn't conveyed anything to the makers of the film. There is no news that the 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' star was even invited to the event.

The pre-release event will be held on Sept 29, in Vizag.

Written and directed by Thiru, 'Chanakya' has Gopichand as an undercover RAW agent. Mehreen Pirzada is the female lead, while Zareen Khan is a cop. With music by Vishal Chandrasekhar and cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy, its dialogues are by Abburi Ravi.

The film will hit the screens on October 5.
