Dhanush's production venture 'Amma Kanakku' starring Amala Paul. Revathy and Samuthirakani in important roles was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on June 17. But now the release has been postponed to June 24.The film's posters mentioning the new release date have been doing rounds in media.

Yesterday the film's trailer and songs composed by Isaignani Ilaiyaraja were released in online portals and they have created a positive buzz about the film.

'Amma Kanakku' is the Tamil remake of critically acclaimed Hindi film 'Nil Battey Sannata'. Ashwini Aiyer Tiwari who directed the original has directed the Tamil remake also.
