'Amar Akbar Anthony', which hit the screens on Friday, opened to highly negative reviews.  Most sections of audiences have downgraded the movie on social media forums.

Despite the poor reviews, the Ravi Teja-Sreenu Vaitla movie has reportedly mopped up a distributor share of Rs 3.35 Cr (Telugu States). Overseas collections are not noteworthy.  By recent standards, this is good enough for Mass Maharaja, who is reeling under flops.

This Mythri Movie Makers product now faces stiff competition from Vijay Deverakonda's 'Taxiwaala' from Saturday.
