As we had reported earlier this week, Ameer Khan's 'Dangal' created a new box record in Chennai Box Office by exceeding Rs. 1 crores collections in two weekends consecutively. The film had touched around Rs.2.9 crores total collections in its ten days of release. This included the collections from the film's Tamil dubbed version which is being phenomenally well received by Tamil audience.

Now we get a midweek update that the film's gross collection in entire state of Tamil Nadu has touched the magical number of Rs.15 crores in just 12 days (including Monday and Tuesday). The net collection is touted to be Rs.10.5 crores. Chennai city's share is Rs.3.5 crores and Rs.5.8 crores has come from Chengalpet considered as one of the biggest ares in film distribution circles.

This is the highest ever collection made by a Hindi film in Tamil Nadu and it is to be noted that a Hindi film is running to packed houses even on weekdays and this is no holiday season for school children too.

With this the trade has confirmed that 'Dangal' is already a Blockbuster in Tamil Nadu.
