On Saturday evening, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 and was admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai.
Announcing the news on his official Twitter handle, the 77-year-old actor wrote, "I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !".
On the work front, the legendary actor was last seen in director Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo, which was released on OTT platform last month.
