Amitabh appreciates 'Pokiri'

The film 'Pokiri', starring Mahesh Babu as the hero is breaking all box-office records.

It is on the threshold of becoming the highest grosser of all time in the 75-year history of Telugu cinema. Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan along with director Ram Gopal Varma had the privilege of watching the film recently in Mumbai.

After the show, he had special praise for Mahesh and director Puri Jagannadh. He was simply awestruck by the characterization and the performance of the hero. The body language of Mahesh in the action sequences mesmerized him from top to bottom.

Director Puri Jagannadh said, “ I am jubilant that the film has been applauded by great men like Amitabh and Ram Gopal Varma. I am ecstatic and at the same time overjoyed to hear that my Guru Varma has decided to remake “Pokiri” in Hindi. It has not been confirmed, when the film will be launched”.
