It's a big day for Cinema lovers today! And we obviously don't need to tell you why! Every family has an Amitabh fan rather every family in itself is a fan! Yes it is Shehenshah's birthday. He was and is ruling hearts with the super duper hits he's given and the characters he has played. And as this legend turns 75 we look back at his films and talk about 10 actors who'd fit best in the iconic characters played by him.
Ranveer Singh: Vijay Verma the bold and spontaneous yet intense cop in 'Deewar' can be played by none other than Ranveer Singh.
Ali Fazal: One of the most appreciated and loved characters played my Amitabh was in 'Kabhi Kabhi', a die hard romantic. Ali smoothly fits in with his capabilities to play this character which we've seen in his last films.
Varun Dhawan: Arjun Singh in 'Namak halal'. There is none better than Varun Dhavan to play this character, energetic, witty and romantic at the same time.
Siddharth Malhotra: He is the most suitable for the introvert and isolated character played by Amitabh in 'Zanjeer'.
Arjun Kapoor: You can easily imagine Arjun in the raw, generous and the leader like character Iqbal played by Amitabh Bachchan in 'Coolie'.
Farhan Akhtar: Jay in Sholay was a complete package and our choice for that character is Farhan who would play it very effortlessly.
Ranbir Kapoor: The professor who plays the doctor in the film 'Chupke Chupke'. Ranbir Kapoor is apt to play the innocent and serious Dr Sukumaran Sinha.
Ayushmaan Khurrana: When we talk about Subir in 'Abhimaan' the first name that clicks is Ayushmaan Khurrana, He would be the right choice to play the sensitive singer in the film.
Sushant Singh Rajput: Remember Vijay from 'Dostana'? The one who sacrifices his love for his friend Ravi (Shatrugn Sinha). Sushant Singh Rajput makes it to the list to play this character.
Akshay Kumar: And last but not the least. Shehenshah. This character could be well played by someone who has evolved in the industry. Akshay Kumar is our pick for it! Rishte mein to hum tumhare baap lagte hain Naam hai shenshah! Won't it be good to hear it from Akshay. We think it'll be fab! What's your take?
Vicky Kaushal: 'Silsila' the love triangle! Vicky Kaushal is the best one to play writer Amit Malhotra potrayed by Amitabh in the all time favourite 'Silsila'.
