Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan continues to act even at the age of 82. He played a role in Rajinikanth's Tamil movie ‘Vettaiyan’. Apart from movies and advertisements, he also hosts the television show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’.
In the financial year 2024-25, Amitabh Bachchan has earned an income of ₹350 crore. For this, he has paid ₹120 crore as income tax to the government, making him the highest taxpaying celebrity this year.
Last year, Shah Rukh Khan was the highest taxpayer, contributing ₹92 crore in taxes. However, in 2024, Amitabh Bachchan has surpassed him. Additionally, other actors like Vijay have paid ₹80 crore in taxes, while Salman Khan has contributed ₹75 crore.
