Amitabh Bachchan's father honoured at the Worclaw on Diwali.

Amitabh Bachchans father honoured at the Worclaw on Diwali.

 

Actor Amitabh Bachchan's father Harivansh Rai Bachchan was one of the most eminent poets of Hindi language. Amitabh Bachchan often recites his works during various occasions. Harivansh Rai's work is so popular in the world that recently a square in Polish City of Wroclaw was named after him. 

Now the Diwali, citizens of Wroclaw have decided to honour Mr Bachchan by lighting a diya in front of his statue on the square. Big B shared a pic of lit diya in front of Harivansh Rai's statute with the caption , "“They honour Babuji by placing a 'diya' for Deepavali at his statue in Wroclaw , Poland .. an honour a pride,”.

Previously on Dussehra, Big B shared the news of the square being named after his father.
