Amitabh in hospital again

The film industry was abuzz with rumors that Amitabh Bachchan who had visited Nanavati Hospital late Monday night was going to go through another surgery for hernia.

But it was on Tuesday that Abhishek Bachchan cleared all doubts. He said that his father had only gone for a regular check up.

Tests like MRI and CT scan were conducted on his intestines where he was operated last November. They were purely done to check the status of the intestines now. The actor is not working and may continue to do so for the next few months.

The doctors have cleared the test results. Mr. Bachchan is fine now. He is only reported to have visited the hospital late night was to avoid media hype.
