Andhra Pradesh logs 7,998 new cases in 24 hours

Andhra Pradesh has registered 7,998 Covid-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours, as on July 23 (Thursday) till 10 AM. About 58,052 samples were tested in the 24-hour period.
With this, the total number of confirmed cases in the State stands at 69,816. Discharged cases are 34,818 in number, while Deceased cases are 884 in number.
Active Cases are 34,114 in number.
East Godavari with 10,038 cases has got the highest tally in the State. Kurnool has got 8701 cases, Guntur has got 8097 cases, and Anantapur has got 7282 cases. These districts have got the worst caseload.
So far, more than 14,93,879 samples have been tested.
