Vasantha Balan's `Angadi Theru' is special for it has musical score by two most happening music composers of Tamil cinema- Vijay Antony and G V Prakash Kumar. Both the music directors have opted for a similar style and they have done identical works.

With Na Muthukumar penning the lyrics, the songs are nothing but realistic. The tunes too are catchy. Quite resembling the title, the movie is supposedly set in a market place and the songs give us that raw feel.

Check out what the music composers have rendered in the album:

1. Aval Appadi Onrum - Listen here

Singer: Ranjith, Vineeth Srineevas, Janaki Iyer

Vijay Antony has tuned the song that is based on a classical raaga. With good use of violins and flute, the song has everything a true music-lover would crave for. Ranjith and Vineeth Srineevas sing with utmost care while Janaki's interludes are stunning. Vijay Antony deserves credit for using mild sounds.

2. Kadhaigalai Pesum - Listen here

Singer: Benny Dayal, Hamsika

Benny Dayal steals the show with his casual and cool rendition in this song set to tunes by G V Prakash Kumar. A fun-filled number that has everything to cheer about. Hamsika gives Dayal good company. Prakash's harmony is nice to listen to.

3. Kannil Theriyum Vaanam - Listen here

Singer: G V Prakash Kumar

The singer in G V Prakash Kumar comes out thanks to this number. A confidence-boosting song, it is lively. The music allows the lyrics to dominate. Prakash has opted for stylish sounds. It is a song that is worth listening to.

4. Un Perai Sollum - Listen here

Singer: Naresh Iyer, Shreya Ghoshal, Haricharan

A young trio has come together to sing a song that is mellifluous. A good mix of catchy rhythms and interesting instrumentation, the song is nothing but very smooth. An enjoyable number that has lively musical score combined with grace and charm of the singers.

5. Yenge Poveno - Listen here

Singer: Benny Dayal, M K Balaji, Janaki Iyer

Vijay Antony's pacy music is the hallmark of the number. It's again Benny Dayal who steals the show with his best score. It has catchy rhythms which has its moments. A loud number, it has everything in it to make it big at dance-floors.

6. Karungaali Naayae - Listen here

Singer: Nellai Boys, Karthik

A racy rap number surprisingly from Prakash Kumar. A group of singers come together to sing with an enjoyable experience. It is roaring and rocking. The interludes too are pacy.

Angadi Theru's music is strikingly different from the run-of-the-mill stuff. It has everything to make it big.
