Angelina Jolie's Decade-Long Quest for Self-Rediscovery and Emotional Healing

Angelina Jolie doesn't like to get too specific about her relatively infrequent acting jobs. But in a Vogue interview about her Atelier Jolie fashion line, she hinted at feeling down lately and said, I don't feel like I've been myself for a decade, in a way. She didn't explain why.
Jolie shared that she started cutting down on her film work about seven years ago and started doing fewer roles, especially those with shorter shooting times. She added, We had a lot of healing to do. We're still finding our footing. Atelier Jolie is one step towards the healing process for her and has a therapeutic value where she can work together with trusted people and rediscover herself again. In this sense, she expressed her wish to change various aspects of life and other things too, which may be symbolized through this venture.
Being 48 years old, Jolie feels that she is often judged by people for her attire. Thus, she has yet to define her personal style of appearance, where she would like to look a bit softer and friendlier after her hard times. She also stated that women should feel safe enough to express their femininity through clothes, as opposed to wearing armour.
