Anil Kapoor talks about the most iconic film of his career

Anil Kapoor has given several commercial and critical hits in his career. His 2001 flick 'Nayak' was neither of those but it managed to stand the test of time and is now considered a cult classic. 'Nayak' recently completed 20 years of its release and on the ocassion, Anil Kapoor shared what he thinks about the project. Directed by ace filmmaker Shankar, the film also starred Rani Mukherjee, Paresh Rawal, Amrish Puri and others.
Anil says, “‘Nayak‘ is one of my movies that has certainly aged well! As an actor, I’m thankful to Shankar for giving me the opportunity to explore my range as an action hero and believing in me.
Recalling an iconic action scene from the movie, Anil says, “As I look back, it feels like yesterday that I was trying to balance myself on top of a bus for a fight sequence in the film. ‘Nayak’ will always remain close to my heart for its pure effort and I hope to soon be celebrating 20 more years of the movie.
