Anitha Reddy visits Kalahasthi to be blessed with children

Anitha Reddy of 'Nuvvu Nenu' fame shone as a television star in the last decade.  The talented and expressive actress didn't quite get big-ticket offers down South despite the run-away success of Teja's second outing way back in 2001.  Nevertheless, her talent didn't go unappreciated on small screen.  The actress is set to have a comeback kinda film in 'Manalo Okadu' this month.  Starring RP Patnaik in the role of a common man crusading against media arrogance, it is written and directed by RP himself.  Anitha is playing RP's main co-star here.

The news is that Anitha has paid a pilgrimage to Sri Kalahasthi, the holy town near Tirupathi.  She was there for two purposes: to perform 'puja' to Rahu-Kethu deities so as to be blessed to have children, and to perform 'puja' to Shiva-Parvathi to seek blessings for the success of 'Manalo Okadu'.
