Anjali turns singer

Actress Anjali is going to don the singer avatar for the first time in her upcoming horror-drama Chitrangadha. The actress has recently crooned a song along with Sela Swaminathan, son of music composer Selva Ganesh for this film.
The film produced by Gangapatnam Sridhar is a bi-lingual in Telugu and Tamil. The Tamil version is titled Yaar Nee. The film is the story of a transgender and is set in USA backdrop. Anjali has shed a few kilos to get into the skin of the character and will be seen sporting a different look.
Ashok of Pilla Zamindar fame is directing this film which is likely to hit the screens in summer. The teaser of the film released recently has evoked thumping response from movie buffs.
